My brother visited us in Antigua to get to know where we liver so my husband and I to be the perfect hosts, we took him out for an exciting night out on the town. But I have a 5 year old boy who loves to run and climb. So I think you will be able to understand why we were expecting either a lot of whining, too much climbing on everything (my son is more of a monkey than human at times), some serious refusals to eat anything at all, and complaining that he is tired and wants to go home. The beautiful city of Antigua Guatemala and is located in the Central Region of Guatemala, it sits among volcanoes (Acatenango, Fuego and Agua) and mountains. This city is a lot more than just a fabled colonial, cobblestoned street filled with delicious restaurants, luxury hotels, colorful homes, popular Spanish Schools and handcraft markets.
