While visiting Gold Coast, Coolangatta, you can visit Point Danger and its lighthouse. Directly across the border is Tweed Heads, which is considered to be a twin city with Coolangatta. Coolangatta offers beautiful golden beaches that stretch all the way to Main Beach and Stradbroke Island. While in Coolangatta you can visit the Nerang River, this is an over 260 square km of waterways and artificial islands.
